By the age of 25, I lived in nine cities and two islands in the Caribbean. And no, I'm not part of a military family. I grew up the daughter of two fine-dining restaurateurs who explored their passion all over the world. I worked in the business, too, as a server assistant, hostess, and server in high school and college before I realized that my passion for the industry was not in day-to-day operations but on the periphery – in writing and communications. I've profiled pastry chefs and written round-ups on everything from coffee to late-night food. Food and travel writing is not only my profession but my passion and I'm happy to share it here.
